The Story
Made for the longest aisle.
The Royale is the formal gown of the line. A heavy Italian mikado, strapless and structured at the bodice, with a clean straight-cut skirt and a separate sweep train that attaches at the waist.
We named it for the principality across the bay — for the kind of ceremony where the room knows when to stand. Nothing in the dress is loud. The cloth does the work, and the line keeps it formal.
The bodice is built on a hand-shaped corselette, with a curved front seam and a single back zip set in by hand. The neckline is finished with a roll of the same mikado, hand-rolled and sewn down by hand. The skirt sits straight against the body; the train is mounted on its own waistband.
Three fittings. Made for one walk.
